Savings Bank of Danbury Announces 'Spirit of Giving'
Envelopes with $50 or more will be placed at various locations surrounding the bank's branches.

As part of its ”Spirit of Giving”, the Savings Bank of Danbury will be implementing a program around its 14 branches.
Bank employees will place over 50 envelopes containing $50 or more at various locations around its 14 branches including parks, libraries and schools, the News Times reports. While the cash seems tempting, the bank encourages those who find it to share it with a friend, a charitable organization or perhaps a stranger.
Envelopes will have the bank’s logo on the front and a sticker that says “open me” and will contain instructions on how to “pay it forward.” Those who find envelopes will also be asked to share their stories with the bank either on Facebook or by emailing social@sbdanbury.com.
