Traffic Delays Expected Near Danbury High School Graduation

Motorists should expect congestion around the school as hundreds gather for commencement.

DANBURY, CT — Drivers should expect traffic delays near Danbury High School on June 18 as the Class of 2026 celebrates graduation.

City officials said increased traffic is expected between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. around Danbury High School, where commencement is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. A rain date is set for June 19 at the same time.

Motorists can expect congestion on Clapboard Ridge Road, Golden Hill Road and nearby streets.
