UConn Final Four Watch Parties Planned At Danbury Brewery This Weekend

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury brewery is hosting watch parties this weekend as the University of Connecticut basketball teams head to the Final Four.

University of Connecticut women’s basketball team is set to face the University of South Carolina on Friday at 7 p.m. in its 25th Final Four appearance, while the men’s team will take on the University of Illinois on Saturday at 6:09 p.m.

Elicit Brewing Company in Danbury at 15 Backus Avenue is among several locations hosting watch parties for the games, with large screens set up throughout the space.

The brewery will also feature a themed cocktail called “Bleed Blue,” described as an electric blue vodka lemonade, and is encouraging fans to come out and support the Huskies during both matchups.

Additional watch parties are planned at other Elicit Brewing locations in Fairfield and Manchester, as well as restaurants operated by Eli’s Restaurant Group, including Eli’s on Whitney in Hamden and Eli’s Branford.

Both games are part of the NCAA Tournament’s Final Four, with the winners advancing to the national championship.
