Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury Welcomes New Minister

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury, now in its 201st year, is pleased to welcome Reverend Tony Lorenzen as our new minister.

Rev. Anthony Lorenzen's ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury begins August 1, 2023. His debut in the pulpit will be August 20, and he will also speak in person during the service on September 3rd and 17th.

Rev. Tony grew up Catholic in Leominster, MA and holds degrees from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts (B.A. in English) and Harvard Divinity School (M.Div.) He left the Catholic Church in 2003 and became a Unitarian Universalist Minister, becoming ordained in 2007. He has served congregations in Massachusetts, Texas and Connecticut.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury is a liberal religious organization supporting a "free and responsible search for truth and meaning". We hold one service on each Sunday morning at 10 am. Free childcare is provided, with a liberal religious education program for children and youth starting this September 17th.
