If you’re looking for something to do in Danbury in the upcoming weeks, don’t fret. There are several upcoming events that the whole family can enjoy.
Concerts on the Green
The CityCenter’s popular Concerts on the Green kicked off in August. The next in the series will be “THUMBS UP THURSDAY!! Featuring BIG NAZO” on Aug. 13. Concerts begin at 7 p.m.

A suggested donation of $2 is welcome per individual and $5 per family. Parking is available at the Patriot Garage at 21 Delay Street (adjacent to the Green) and the Bardo Garage, located at 10 Library Place off Main Street.

Indian Flag Raising
The event takes place Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. It will be held at City Hall.
World War II Ceremony
The event hosted by the Danbury Council of Veterans will be held Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place in the Rose Garden at Rogers Park.
Fireworks at Candlewood Lake
The event, which was previously postponed due to rain will now be held Aug. 22 at Candlewood Town Park.
