Woman's Club of Danbury-New Fairfield Announces New Officers for 2014-2016

The new officers for the Woman’s Club of Danbury/New Fairfield 2014-2016 presented their new members at the October meeting. President Sara Newell will lead the club throughout these years with Kathy Matusiak as her first vice president in charge of membership. Rosemary Sarsfield, Second Vice President is the Dean of Community Service Programs as well as assuming the duties of President in the absence of Sarah. Ginny Chulkovs is third Vice President and Chairperson of the Philanthropic Committee. Karlene Lombardi is Corresponding Secretary. Patty Beirn is Recording Secretary who keeps the minutes of the General Meetings, Executive Board meetings and the Executive Committee. Beverly Regan is Treasurer. Sue Egelston and Connie Kaufman are Second Treasures and chairpersons of Ways and Means Committee and will handle the Poinsettia Fundraiser.
The Woman’s Club meets nine months of the year. Their philanthropic endeavors allow them to provide scholarships to students from five local High Schools as well as donating to community projects . The communities have received over $483,230 and awards from the club since 1982 when it was founded by twenty civic minded charter members.
