Woman, 22, Killed In CT Crash, 3 Others Seriously Injured
Two vehicles crashed head-on Friday night and one person was killed, police said.

KENT, CT — A 22-year-old Connecticut woman was killed and three people seriously injured after a horrific head-on, two-vehicle crash Friday night on Skiff Mountain Road, the Republican-American reports. Deanna Silvernail, 22, of Lakeville, was killed in the crash. She was seated in the backseat and was thrown from the vehicle, the Rep-Am reports.
The two vehicles, a Lincoln Navigator and GMC Terrain collided at the top of a hill around 7 p.m., the News Times reports. Silvernail was pronounced dead at the scene and two people were transported via LifeStar helicopters to area hospitals, the News Times reports.
Also suffering serious injuries were: Shelby M. Roger, 25, and Angela Brazzale, both of Salisbury, and Brian Hastings, 38, of Kent, the Rep-Am reports. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
