This motto was put into action on October 14 when members donated to various club committees items that will be distributed throughout the Danbury area. The Environmental Committee collected redeemable water bottles and cans. The Outreach Committee collected gift cards that will be given out on Veteran's Day to thank veterans for their service. The Community Improvement Committee collected new winter gloves and socks for the homeless. The Health and Wellness Committee collected non-perishable food items for the Daily Bread Food Pantry. They also collected cleaning supplies and toiletries for Marketplace, a program run by Catholic Charities. The Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield will continue to support our community throughout the year through their philanthropic activities.
