The Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield strives to support our surrounding communities through its philanthropic activities. Recently, a group of the club's members gathered at Hatter's Park to make "No Sew Blankets". Each member purchased enough material to make at least one blanket. Thirty blankets were made and delivered to Regional Hospice. Since the inception of this project in 2014, members of the WCDNF have made and donated 500 blankets that Regional Hospice has distributed to its clients. Last year, the club made blankets that were donated to Ability Beyond. Those blankets were monogrammed and personalized for clients in group homes operated by the agency. The WCDNF is proud to support community organizations through the ongoing project.
