Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield (WCDNF) Supports Community
The WCDNF began its club year supporting many non-profit organizations.
The Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield celebrated its 42nd year this October with its support of health and wellness in our community. Members donated $1,410.00 in cleaning supplies, paper goods and hygiene products to the Morning Glory Marketplace. These items are not covered by food stamps and are much needed by local families on limited budgets.
For over 25 years, the WCDNF has supported the Salvation Army Food Pantry. From October thru May this club year, members have pledged to donate $50 each week with all proceeds going directly to the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
Members of the club donated hand-made cards for Ann's Place. The artwork on the cards with its warmth, caring and encouragement will be going to people who have cancer or affected by cancer.
