Danbury/New Fairfield Woman's Club Helps the St. James Pantry

At the October meeting of the Woman’s Club of Danbury/New Fairfield the Home Life Department collected over $1,050 of in-kind donations for the Food Pantry of St. James Church on West Street in Danbury as well as $95 in monetary donations. This food will be for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to be distributed to those in need. There will also be a collection at a Spring meeting. Janet Kahn and Rose Davis planned this project and made arrangement to have people from St. James come to pick up the food and cash.
