1 Vehicle Reported Stolen, 7 Burglarized In Darien: PD

DARIEN, CT — Between Jan. 20 and 21, seven vehicles were burglarized in Darien, and a 2015 Lexus RX was reported stolen from a driveway, according to Darien police. In all instances, the vehicles had been left unlocked.

The stolen vehicle was from a home on Laforge Road on the night of Jan. 21, the same street where another vehicle was burglarized the same night. Nothing was taken from the burglarized vehicle.

Also on the 21st, two vehicles were burglarized from separate driveways on Thomasina Lane, but again, nothing was reported missing, according to police.

On the 20th, three vehicles were burglarized at a home on Deepwood Road, and another vehicle was broken into at a home on Hickory Lane. The contents of the unnamed glove compartment were taken from that vehicle.
