11-Year-Old Darien Girl's Bicycle Stolen
Another bike was left in its place, police said.

DARIEN, CT—A bicycle was stolen from a Middlesex Road garage Dec. 4.
The incident happened between 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. at a residence near the intersection with Hoyt Street, police said.
Residents were moving items into a garage and the garage bay was left open. At one point the parents of the 11-year-old girl realized that her bike was taken and another one left in its place.

Her bicycle is a $500 red model and the one left in its place was maroon with rust and a missing right handlebar.
