Darien cops found heroin in the suspects' possession.

DARIEN, CT — Two people were arrested on narcotics and larceny charges Dec. 31 after they allegedly stole a cell phone from the Verizon store on the Post Road and were found with heroin and drug paraphernalia, according to Darien police.
The incident occurred at about 1 p.m. after police were called to the store on a report of a larceny, and both were spotted walking on the Post Road.
"Responding officers were given a description as provided by the complainant and were able to locate and detain the male and female suspects, later identified as Lawrence Livolsi and Sennas Bayram," stated Darien police. "Bayram immediately complied with Officers’ directions to stop, whereas Livolsi continued to walk away from officers ignoring their directives. Livolsi eventually complied with officer’s instructions to stop and remove his hands from his pockets. As he removed his hands from his pockets, officers saw that he was holding a used hypodermic needle. He was ordered to drop the needle, which he immediately did. A subsequent search of Livolsi revealed a bundle of packaged heroin, a pipe used for smoking crack-cocaine, and a second hypodermic needle (capped)."
