2 Cars Stolen From Driveways In Darien: Police

DARIEN, CT — A Mercedes and a BMW were recently reported stolen from two different driveways in Darien, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said a 2016 Mercedes C300 was reported stolen from a Cedar Gate Road driveway on March 29.

According to Skoumbros, the owner told police the vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside and was stolen sometime overnight.

The vehicle was later tracked by BMW and found in Newark, N.J., where it was towed from the scene, Skoumbros said.

On Monday, a 2022 BMW 740 was reported stolen from a Nearwater Lane driveway. The owner told officers the vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside and was stolen sometime overnight, Skoumbros said.
