2 People Killed in Connecticut Car Crash; Victim IDs Released

State Police say three people were thrown from the vehicle and a third person sustained serious injuries.

LEBANON, CT — Two Bronx, New York residents Levorio Guerrieo, 43, and Alejandro Rentas, 42, died after a motor vehicle accident in Connecticut Friday afternoon. All three people inside the vehicle, which crashed on Kick Hill Road in Lebanon, were thrown from the vehicle, NBC Connecticut reports.

A third person sustained serious injuries in the accident, which occurred around 3 p.m. Friday. The vehicle for some reason left the roadway and ended up crashing into trees, NBC Connecticut reports. The accident is under investigation and if anyone has any information they are urged to call State Police Troop K at 860-465-5400 ext. 4092. On Friday, heavy rain and thunderstorms were moving through the state, and it's unclear if the weather played a role in the accident.
