2019 Darien Fall Flu Clinics Temporarily Postponed

A shortage of vaccine is the culprit, according to officials.

DARIEN, CT — A lack of flu vaccine has led to the temporary closure of the Darien Health Department's fall 2019 Flu Clinic, according to town health officials.

The clinic will remain postponed until further notice, as the town waits for a new supply of vaccine. When the town expects to receive more vaccine was not disclosed.

As a result, a flu clinic that was scheduled for today, Oct. 15, has been cancelled, officials said. Flu clinics scheduled for Oct. 22 and 29 in Darien also might be cancelled.
