2024 Darien Beach Usage Information

DARIEN, CT — As residents prepare for warmer weather, here is some information regarding beach usage in town, according to the most recent newsletter from the town of Darien.

Pear Tree Beach

• Security: May 24 through Sept. 2
• Lifeguards: Starting May 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekends only until June 15, and then daily through Labor Day.
• Bathrooms: May 1 through Sept. 30.

Weed Beach

• Security: April 15 through Sept. 29
• Lifeguards: Starting May 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekends only until June 15, and then daily through Labor Day.
• Bathrooms: Paddle bathrooms are open now. Starting April 15, paddle bathrooms close, main bathhouse bathrooms open through Sept. 29, and then paddle bathrooms will reopen.
