2026 Darien Beach Emblems On Sale Wednesday: Prices, How To Purchase
Beach emblems are available to all Darien residents and Darien real estate taxpayers.
DARIEN, CT — It's still cold outside, but Darien residents can begin to think about warmer days ahead as 2026 beach emblems go on sale this week.
Online sales will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4.
Beach emblems for vehicles are required for entry at Weed Beach beginning April 15, and at Pear Tree Point Beach beginning May 22. Emblems from 2025 are valid through May 31.

Emblems are available to all Darien residents and Darien real estate taxpayers. Proof of residency and current motor vehicle registration must be provided.
Here are the prices, according to the Parks & Recreation website:

- Resident: $58 (includes CT sales tax)
- Senior resident: Free (one per family)
- Non-resident taxpayer: $97 (if car owned by Darien resident, but registered in another town)
- Summer residents: $128 (includes CT sales tax)
- Daily beach pass: $58 per vehicle on weekdays (includes CT sales tax); $70 per vehicle on weekends and holidays (includes CT sales tax)
- Boat launch: $54
- Daily boat launch: $79
The town says on its website that while it typically mails out beach emblems the first business day after online purchase, it's possible for the postal mail to take up to two weeks for delivery. Missing documentation could also delay delivery.
Applications may also be filled out and mailed with a copy of DMV registration for each vehicle.
