
DARIEN, CT — The largest wave of motor vehicle break-ins in recent memory occurred in Darien last week. A total of 22 vehicles burglaries were reported and in all instances the vehicles were left unlocked.
Police remind residents to lock their vehicles. Below is a summary of burglaries.

- 1 on Cherry St. Taken a Magahino wallet worth $150 and three credit cards.
- 3 on Robinson St
- 3 on Hamilton Ln. Taken was $10 in coins, $20 in paper currency and a pair of sunglasses.

- 1 on Woods End Rd. Taken was a bottle of wine, gift cards, a shirt, an empty gift bag and headbands.

- 1 on Stanton Rd
- 1 on Glenwood Rd
- 1 on Ridge Acres Rd. Taken was a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses valued at $250.
