$27k in Jewelry Reported Stolen from Darien Home
Contractors were working on the home when the jewelry was stored, police said.

Darien, CT- A Wild Cat Road resident reported that about $27,000 in jewelry was stolen from her residence.
The victim placed her jewelry in a clear plastic container and stored it in a closet within a closet off the master bedroom while her house was being worked on by contractors, police said.

She stored the items June 16 and left the house while contractors worked to refinish her floor. The floor was finished June 20 and the woman looked for the container July 8. She wasn't able to find the container by July 11 and reported it to police.
Detectives are following up with a multitude of contractors that were working at the home along with a moving company.
