3 Parked Cars Entered On Same Street In Darien: Police

There have been several reports of cars being entered in Darien recently, according to the latest crime update from police.

DARIEN, CT — Several cars have been entered recently in Darien, mainly on the same street, according to the latest crime update from police. No items were reported missing in each incident.

A Fairfield Avenue resident reported to police that his home security camera showed someone entering his car on Jan. 10. The car was unlocked, police said.

Another Fairfield Avenue resident reported seeing someone on his Ring security camera enter two of his cars in the early morning hours of Jan. 10, police added. Both of the cars were unlocked.

On Jan. 14, a Darien police officer responded to a home on Sunnyside Avenue on a report of a car burglary. A woman said that her unlocked car was entered during the overnight hours, police said.

Also on Sunnyside Avenue, police said a 2021 Honda was stolen during the overnight hours from Jan. 13-14. The car was unlocked with the keys left inside.
