$4,300 Diamond Earrings Missing After Car Wash in Darien: PD
The woman said she didn't take them out of the vehicle before employees went to clean the interior.

DARIEN, CT — A woman reported her $4,300 diamond earrings missing after taking her SUV to the car wash.
The earrings were left in the center console, according to the Darienite. The woman reported cleaning her vehicle out before it went into the car wash, but said she didn't remove the earrings before workers got into the vehicle to clean the interior.
She realized they were missing shortly after leaving Splash car wash on the Post Road. A manager checked through the vehicle and had vacuums inspected, but they didn't turn up. The investigation continues.
