Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Tools Stolen From Darien Construction Site: Police

Police said the theft is believed to have occurred on Aug. 17.

DARIEN, CT — Thousands of dollars worth of tools were stolen recently from a construction site in town, according to the Darien Police Department's latest crime summary report.

On Aug. 19, at 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of Heights Road and the A. Pappajohn construction site on a report of a theft of tools that were valued at approximately $9,000.

Police said the theft is believed to have occurred on Aug. 17 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
