Adult Art & Sound Meditation Retreat, Watercolor Class Offered at DAC
April Visual Arts offerings for adults at Darien Art Center include an Art & Sound Meditation Retreat and Watercolor and Still Life classes.

Adult Visual Arts Classes at the Darien Arts Center include Watercolor and Still Life classes that begin in April and an Art & Sound Meditation Workshop on April 12.
Karen Siegel leads HOW TO PAINT WITH WATERCOLOR, a beginner/intermediate class that explores the concepts of drawing, color mixing, layering and shading. All supplies are included in this fun class that runs from April 1-29 on Mondays from noon to 2pm. Class fee is $275
Participants welcome springtime by exploring their creativity in a relaxed space at the ART & SOUND MEDITATION RETREAT on April 12th from 7:30-9:30pm. Using various water media, students make their own piece of art with artist Karen Siegel, followed by sound meditation accompanied by different instruments with wellness practitioner Adriana DeSousa. This will be a restorative evening of mindfulness and inspiration and an energizing reset for the change of season. $70.

Nancy-McTague-Stock leads CREATING THE STILL LIFE-YOUR WAY! for all levels of ability. Nancy will guide you in your chosen media to create a beautiful painting to your liking, whether traditional or contemporary, with your own composition or one provided, or even from a photo! Classes run from April 10 through June 5 on Wednesdays from 10-11:30am. Class fee is $367
