Adult Watercolor Painting Class at Darien Arts Center

Painting class for all levels of ability begins on February 6

The Darien Arts Center's Adult Watercolor Painting class with Joe LaMorte begins on February 6 and runs through April 24, on Mondays from 9:30am-12:30pm. Basic to advanced watercolor techniques will be demonstrated and instruction covers all steps toward a finished work, including drawing, color theory, painting techniques and composition. Students can work on class projects or on individual paintings at their own pace. All levels of ability are welcome.

Joe La Morte, who teaches the adult watercolor class, has trained at Cooper Union and The New School in New York City. LaMorte’s popular class draws adult students from beginners to award-winning watercolorists.
