The Darien Arts Center is thrilled to welcome East Coast Contemporary Ballet back to The Weatherstone Studio for Passageways, the company's highly anticipated 2026 Spring Season. ECCB will perform on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th, both evenings beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Passageways promises to be one of the most exciting evenings of contemporary dance to grace the Darien Arts Center stage. The program features a dynamic mixed repertory program including two world premieres, each choreographed by one of ECCB's founding directors, Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa. Among the premieres is a breathtaking new work created in collaboration with celebrated Italian artist Luca Serasini, inspired by his sculpture "Waiting for Angels." Together these works offer audiences a rich and moving exploration of contemporary and modern dance that is sure to leave them inspired, uplifted, and on their feet.
East Coast Contemporary Ballet is no stranger to the Darien Arts Center community. As a longtime partner of the DAC Dance Academy, ECCB brings a level of artistry and professionalism that deeply enriches the experience of DAC's students and families. Witnessing a professional company perform in an intimate black box setting is a rare and invaluable opportunity and connects audiences to the transformative power of live performance in a deeply personal way.
Tickets are $40 for general admission and $20 for students. Seating is limited and early reservations are strongly encouraged.
