Lesley Agnes Serricchio, 81, died May 3, 2026; a homemaker who became a U.S. citizen in 1986, she enjoyed reading, following politics, traveling, walking at Darien beaches, hosting dinner parties and caring for German Shepherds.
Andrew Coddington Stewart, 44, died May 1, 2026; a Middlebury College and Wharton School graduate who worked in finance at Ares Management and Goldman Sachs, he volunteered with the Darien Volunteer Fire Department and Darien Soccer Association and enjoyed soccer, travel and New York sports teams.
James J. Fletcher, 88, died April 30, 2026; a St. Anselm’s College graduate who owned J.J. Fletcher Company as an insurance investigations agent and was active with St. Thomas More Parish and the Darien Men’s Association, he enjoyed golfing, handball, boating, country music, motorcycles and cars.
George Augustus Castellion, 95, died April 23, 2026; a physical chemist and inventor with patents including the electrochromic rearview mirror and a manufacturing process for the antibiotic Minocin, he later worked in marketing and consulting in new product development and enjoyed music, hiking, gardening, mystery novels and wine.
Kent Ransom Costikyan III, 66, died April 14, 2026; an American University graduate in international relations who interned for Sen. Claiborne Pell and Vice President George H.W. Bush and later volunteered as a guide at the Maritime Aquarium, he enjoyed music and worked as a sound technician for a local band in his youth.
Charles V. “Chip” Raymond, 83, died April 11, 2026; a New York City public service executive who worked for four mayors and became the first commissioner of the city’s Department of Homeless Services before later leading the New York City Ballet and Citigroup Foundation, he was also an avid competitive sailor and yacht club member.
