History is coming off the pages and onto the streets this June. The Middlesex Parish 250 Committee is proud to invite the community to the Revolutionary Road Tour on June 13th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This free, self-guided event for all ages offers a unique opportunity for families and history buffs alike to explore 15 local sites that played pivotal roles in the American Revolution.
The tour spans the scenic landscapes of Darien, Rowayton, and Norwalk, transforming the local commute into a journey through the 18th century. Attendees will experience history firsthand through engaging storytelling, live reenactments, period-accurate games, and the unveiling of historic markers. All sites on the “road trip” will be open, with greeters and historic information.
The immersive community experience allows families to walk the same ground as the patriots and loyalists who shaped these towns, connecting our modern lives to the incredible stories right in our own backyards.
