DARIEN, CT — Darien police are seeking to identify several masked suspects in connection with motor vehicle burglaries that occurred recently in town.
On July 20, police received multiple reports of overnight motor vehicle burglaries in the Salt Box Lane and Glenwood Drive areas of Darien.
"Several vehicles were found entered or rummaged through, with at least one report involving the theft of a backpack and other reports involving the possible theft of small items and a garage door remote," police said.
In one incident, residents reported seeing approximately four masked individuals approach a vehicle around 3:35 a.m., police said.
"Officers developed information that a white sedan with multiple occupants was observed in the area around that time," police noted.
An investigation remains active, and detectives are reviewing available surveillance footage and other leads, police said.

Residents are being reminded to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and never leave keys, key fobs, wallets, or garage door openers inside unattended vehicles.
