The board is expected to discuss and take possible action on a proposed settlement of a tax appeal and on blight foreclosures.

The selectmen are also scheduled to review and provide comments on the draft 2026 Plan of Conservation and Development.

In old business, the board is scheduled to discuss and take possible action on authorizing the town's participation in the Pathogen Monitoring Network.

According to meeting materials, the proposed program would expand bacteria monitoring beyond Weed Beach and Pear Tree Point Beach to additional locations along Darien's coastline, while providing free laboratory testing and an $18,843 grant to help investigate potential pollution sources identified through the monitoring effort.
