Marilyn Louise Schmidt, 84, of Darien, died Aug. 23, 2026. She worked as a manager at IBM and was also known as a skilled seamstress and baker.

Roderic "Rod" Lewis Eaton, 87, died Aug. 18, 2026. He had a long career in financial services, including leadership roles at Equitable and TIAA-CREF, and enjoyed golf, travel and following the New York Giants and Mets.

Robert Paul Taylor, 69, of Darien, died Aug. 17, 2026. A longtime mechanic, he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and collector whose collection of rare vintage motorcycles reflected his lifelong interest in engines and mechanical work.

Ursula Weston Forman, 94, died Aug. 6, 2026. A longtime Darien public servant, she served for more than 20 years on the Representative Town Meeting and also served on the Board of Ethics and Planning and Zoning Commission, while remaining active with the League of Women Voters and teaching bridge at the Darien Community Association.
