Darien Seniors Named 'Commended Students' In 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program

DARIEN, CT — Numerous students from Darien have been named as "Commended Students" in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

There are 30 seniors from Darien High School who were recognized.

DHS Principal Ellen Dunn and Director of School Counseling Cathy Oster, along with DHS school counselors and assistant principals, presented the students with letters of commendation in recognition of their achievements.

Additionally, Darien residents Carson Beck and John Landers, both seniors at Brunswick School in Greenwich, were named as "commended students" and were recognized by Brunswick last week.
