Holmes School celebrates National Poetry Month

Ted Scheu, known as the Poetry Guy, visited Holmes School to "tickle gigglebones and tug at heart strings."

In honor of April's National Poetry Month, Mr. Scheu, entertained the children and showed them how much fun poetry can be.

He is the author of several books of poetry, including his most recent, "Now I Know My ZBC's."

After a lively assembly with the Kindergarteners, Mr. Scheu visited the 1st and 2nd graders in their classrooms for a hands-on workshop, inspiring the students to write their own creative poems.
