There’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday and now Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29, an opportunity to shop at the bricks and mortar stores that give Darien its unique character.
Independent Bookstores across the country have invited authors to be guest book sellers on Saturdayto make “Shop Indie” a special day.

We are pleased to have Kate Manning, author of My Notorious Life, a favorite of local book groups, on hand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help customers with great recommendations for holiday giving and to sign copies of her book.
From 2 to 5 p.m., Ken Oxman, a local author will be signing copies of his new book The Reluctant Assassin. We hope to see you!
