Baywater Puts Forth New Downtown Darien Project Proposal
The company ran into some apprehension over the maximum building height.

DARIEN, CT—Baywater Corbin Partners has filed another document for zoning approval that lowers the proposed height of the tallest building to 69 feet as opposed to the previous 93 feet.
Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission had expressed some worry over the height of some proposed buildings.
The project is likely the most complicated presented to the Town of Darien, Baywater said in a press release. P&Z members seemed comfortable with a max building height between 65 and 75 feet.
Baywater withdrew its previous application and applied for another one. The matter is expected to be taken up at the Nov. 29 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
