BMW Stolen In Darien Turns Up In Waterbury: Cops
The vehicle was reported stolen on Sept. 18.

DARIEN, CT — A 2007 5-series BMW, reported stolen from driveway on Point O'Woods Road in Darien on Sept. 18, was recovered two days later in Waterbury, according to Darien police.
The same day as the theft, a 2011 Lexus RX parked in the same driveway was also broken into but not stolen, the glove compartment's contents strewn on the passenger seat.
"Both vehicles had been parked in the driveway of the home, and had last been seen at 5:30 p.m. the day prior," wrote Darien police in a statement. "The owner stated he believed his vehicles had been locked, but no signs of forced entry were observed. The check of the Lexus by the homeowner lead him to believe nothing had been taken."
