Bonds Issued for Darien Police Boat, Other Projects
The town announced a bond issuance of $3.1 million for a number of projects.
The Town of Darien announced that $3.1 million in bonds has been issued for several projects.
Projects include $228,000 to pay for a new police boat and $1.925 million for the acquisition of .57 acres of land that will become Weed Beach, according to Darien News.
Some funds will also go toward installing a new heating system in the Board of Education administrative offices.
