In 1895, seventeen-year-old Sara Thibault’s dream is to follow in her father’s footsteps as master winemaker at their stunning Loire Valley family vineyard. When a violent tragedy compels her to flee from France, she runs to beautiful Napa County, in hopes of making her own way in the winemaking world.
Meet Kristen at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, and hear about her inspiration for this evocative novel, the first in a series about the changing world of vineyard life at the turn of the century.
