DARIEN, CT — Burglaries were recently reported at two businesses in Darien, including one in which an employee's credit card was stolen, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said officers were called to Clean Juice, located on Old Kings Highway N, on April 16 after a woman received a text message from her credit card company alerting her that someone tried to use her card at a CVS.

The woman told police she went to the store's back office where she stored her wallet and found it was missing, Skoumbros said.

On April 19, officers were called to a business on the Post Road after an employee arrived at work and noticed a broken glass pane on the back door of the business, Skoumbros said.
