Burglary Of Darien Apartment Under Investgation: Police

DARIEN, CT — Darien police are investigating a burglary they say occurred at an apartment in town last week.

On Nov. 11 shortly after 11 p.m., officers responded to a second-floor apartment on the Post Road on a report of a burglary.

A woman told police she arrived home at approximately 11 p.m., and found her apartment door had been broken, police said.

When the woman entered the apartment, she found multiple drawers open and items strewn across the bed, police said.

The scene was processed and an investigation is ongoing, police noted.
