Callie's New Job

Apparently, Callie Sullivan, current BOE member, has announced that she has taken an executive position with a design and branding firm. Good for Callie. The move does raise some interesting questions. The first is will Callie stay on the BOE? The next question is does this move preclude Callie from running for higher office in the future? After all, Callie has been a Selectman and unsuccessfully ran for First Selectman. I have had Republicans in town tell me that Callie would have a tough time beating Jayme Stevenson if Stevenson runs for First Selectman again. The same Republican sources also said that Callie would beat Susan Marks if Marks was the candidate.
