Car Fire In Darien Extinguished By Firefighters: Police
Police said the car was fully engulfed in flames in town near Interstate 95.
DARIEN, CT — Firefighters extinguished a car fire that broke out on the Post Road in Darien, near exit 11 of Interstate 95, Wednesday morning, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said all occupants were out of the vehicle when officers arrived.
The Post Road was temporarily closed in both directions after the car became fully engulfed in flames, Skoumbros said.

Darien Fire Department crews ultimately extinguished the fire and no injuries were reported.
