Car, Leaf Blowers Stolen From Darien Country Club: Police

Police responded to the club twice over three days last week.

DARIEN, CT — A car and three leaf blowers were stolen from the Darien Country Club three days apart, according to police.

On Aug. 6, officers responded to the club on Mansfield Avenue on a report of a stolen 2023 Mercees AMG E63. The car was unlocked with the keys inside, police said.

On Aug. 9, officers responded again to the club after a groundskeeper nticed theee backpack leaf blowers were missing from a building, police said.

Security footage showed a masked suspect stealing the equipment between midnight and 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 9, police added.
