Car Stolen From Darien Library: Police
Officers were called to the library shortly after 6 p.m. on Dec. 13.

DARIEN, CT — A Mercedes Benz was stolen from the Darien Library on Dec. 13, according to police.
Officers were called to the library on the Post Road at approximately 6:09 p.m. Police said the car owner left their 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 running while they were inside the library, and they returned to find the vehicle missing.
Car thefts have plagued Connecticut and Fairfield County in recent years. Police have often reminded residents to lock their car doors and take their belongings with them.
