Car stolen From Darien Recovered In Meriden: Police

DARIEN, CT — A car stolen from a Darien home last week was recovered in Meriden, according to police.

On the morning of April 28, officers responded to a home on Baywater Drive after a resident reported her 2019 Audi was stolen during the overnight hours. The car was unlocked with the keys left inside, police said.

A GPS locator showed that the Audi was in Meriden, so officers contacted authorities there, who were able to locate the unoccupied car, police said.

The Audi was towed by Meriden police and the owner was contacted to pick it up.
