Car Wash Attendant Injured When Pinned Between 2 Vehicles: Darien Police
The incident occurred on the Post Road in Darien late last month.

DARIEN, CT — A 32-year-old employee of the Splash Car Wash on the Post Road in Darien suffered lower leg injuries last week when he was pinned between two vehicles, according to police.
The worker, whose identity was not disclosed, was transported to Norwalk Hospital following the May 25 incident, but the extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
"An employee had driven a customer’s vehicle, a black 2006 Infinity, into a wash bay and parked it behind a second customer’s vehicle, a blue 2005 Mercedes," wrote police in a statement. "Another employee then entered the Infinity to begin to detail the interior. Shortly thereafter, the Infinity lurched forward, pinning a third employee between the Infinity and the Mercedes."

Police said that according to the respective vehicle owners, there were no known defects to either car, and the investigation is continuing.
"But it appears that the Infinity may have been left in drive or inadvertently placed into gear while being detailed," said police.
