Car Windows Smashed, Items Taken From Darien Parking Lot: Police

DARIEN, CT — Items such as purses and wallets were recently reported stolen from three vehicles in a Darien parking lot, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said the owners of the vehicles each parked their car in the lot before 6:15 a.m. while attending an hour-long workout class on Oct. 26.

When they returned to their cars, each owner found the window had been smashed and wallets/purses had been taken, Skoumbros said.

All three vehicles were locked at the time of the burglaries, Skoumbros said.
