Cars Broken Into At Local Country Club, 3 Arrested: Darien PD
Police said they arrested three people who were accused of entering unlocked cars in a local country club parking lot.

DARIEN, CT — Three people were arrested on Oct. 13 after police said they entered unlocked cars in the parking lot of Darien Country Club.
According to police:
Rodrigo Aguilera, 51, of Manhattan, N.Y., was charged with conspiracy to third-degree burglary; third-degree burglary from a motor vehicle; and first-degree forgery.

Juan Ibarra-Roa, 35, of Queens, N.Y., faces the same charges plus being a fugitive from justice, police said.
Myriam Mejia-Salinas, 37, also of Queens, was charged with conspiracy to third-degree burglary and third-degree burglary from a motor vehicle, police added.

On Oct. 13 at 1:21 p.m., Darien police officers responded to the area of Darien Country Club on Mansfield Avenue on a report of a possible motor vehicle burglary, police said in a news release.
The reporting party described three suspects, two men and a woman, and said they were looking through several cars in the country club parking lot, police noted.
Police were also given a description of the car the three suspects left the area in.
An officer stopped a car on Mansfield Avenue near Royle Road, and it was occupied by three people matching the description provided, police said.
"A witness observed the three suspects entering unlocked vehicles that were parked in the lot. Video surveillance also captured suspects walking around the lot pulling on door handles," police said in a news release.
Police said Aguilera and Ibarra-Roa provided fraudulent identifications to officers during the traffic stop.
Aguilera was released on a $100,000 bond, Mejia-Salinas was held on a $100,000 bond, and Ibarra-Roa was held on a $500,000 bond.
All three are scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 23. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
