Cash Stolen During Burglary Of Darien Gas Station: Police

The break-in was reported early in the morning on April 21.

DARIEN, CT — An undisclosed amount of cash reportedly was stolen from the Citgo gas station during a burglary of the Five Mile River Road business on April 21, according to Darien police.

Officers were dispatched to the gas station just before 8 a.m. after a report that an employee found the glass door had been shattered.

"Upon checking the business, it was determined that a quantity of cash had been taken from the cash register," Darien police said. "Detectives responded to the scene to process for evidence."
